OUR STORY
How It All Started
Many of us started our gaming hobby in one unilateral way, on the console. During the 7th console generation (i.e. Xbox 360, PS3, Wii Generation) many of us experienced for the first time online gaming and a community to support it. As many of us move towards the PC platform, we noticed an unfortunate trend. The PC doesn't have the same community perks as consoles. It was easy to feel isolated, alone, and somehow neglected on the path to be part of the PCMR. Is this truly the future of gaming? We didn't think so.
When LFG's aren't enough
The PC is a decentralized platform. No single company controls who, what, or how users interact and team up. This is a beautiful thing. At least until you try looking for a few friends to play with. The state of LFG is honestly a joke. "Must have this or that" requirements for scrims, quickplay, and competitive. While this has its place, its hard to make true friends and build a community.
We started Maas Yana to be different
In late 2019, our founder "Kami" AKA Mahikari 真光. Encouraged many of his core Xbox clan to join a small Discord group. There we exchanged memes, cracked jokes, and joined games. With this we knew what we had was different. We had a vetted group of like-minded people who played a variety of games. Honestly we started as a Destiny Clan, but we had a lot more to offer.
We want the old days back where you can switch between games effortlessly for any game any time! Come chill and watch movies with us or chill in a room and listen to some music. Show everyone the true nerd in you and jump into a DnD campaign. We are here to make it easy! We have stuff for everyone even if you just like watching streamers or funny content we have it too! Remember YANA means (You are not alone.)
